San Cristobal – 4 days/3nights

DAY 1
TRANSFER IN + INTERPRETATION CENTER

After a morning flight to San Cristobal Island, we’ll greet you at the airport and head to our hotel. After a quick introduction, we begin our journey at the Galapagos Interpretation Center to learn about the unique wildlife, geology, history, and social dynamics of the Galapagos. After our visit, we hike to Tijeretas along natural trails formed of lava rocks. The path is surrounded by native plants like Galapagos cotton, palo santo, acacia, and cacti, and we will spot blue-footed boobies, frigate birds, pelicans, herons,
gulls, warblers, mockingbirds, and finches in the vegetation and sea cliffs.
We also enjoy scenic views of the rugged coastline and the tranquil town of Puerto Baquerizo Moreno.
We cool off from our hike with a refreshing snorkeling session at postcard-worthy Carola Beach, surrounded by sea turtles, sea lions, and marine iguanas, and bask in the setting sun.

DAY 2
SNORKELING KICKER ROCK

We take a speed boat to the highlight of San Cristobal and one of the best places in Galapagos for snorkeling and diving. This is a known feeding area for sharks and a great variety of tropical fish. Amaze yourself in this natural aquarium with its geological beauty and incredible marine life. We’ll put on snorkels and fins to interact with sea lions, as well as countless reef fish. We’ll swim with spotted eagle rays, golden rays, Galapagos sharks, starfish, clams, and fish of every shape, size, and color. With luck, we might even see some menacing but harmless hammerhead sharks!
We continue our journey and disembark at one of the calm and pristine beaches of the northern coast for a lunch on board.
Relax, walk, swim or snorkel and soak in the natural beauty this place has to offer.
After a full day spent exploring the seas, we head back to town for a well-earned rest.

DAY 3
SAN CRISTOBAL HIGHLANDS

Today we´ll start in Puerto Baquerizo with our Spanish speaking driver. We´ll drive to the highland to visit “El Junco”, one of the only permanent freshwater lakes in the
Galapagos. This walk reveals magnificent panoramic views and close encounters with San Cristobal’s native plant species. After a short drive we stop at “Galapaguera de Cerro Colorado”, a wonderful breeding center where tortoises roam free. We continue to Puerto Baquerizo again where we´ll finish our morning activity. We spend the afternoon in La Loberia Beach here and catch a beautiful sunset.
