HOTEL GRAND CHATHAM, SAN CRISTOBAL – HOTEL PELICAN BAY, SANTA CRUZ

• Day 01

Arrival Transfer Airport SCY Hotel- Lunch

Departure to the Galapaguera Sematural of Cerro Colorado that was built with the purpose of increasing the population of endemic giant tortoises of San Cristóbal. They are 12 hectares of dry forest, it is a small interpretation center where you can learn more about these reptiles and the programs for their reproduction and conservation. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

 

• Day 02

Full day boat trip to LEON SLEEP

From the highest part of San Cristobal is seen as a silhouette in the shape of a lion. It consists of a rocky rock in the shape of an obelisk that emerges from the sea. It consists of two vertical walls with a channel in the center that offers a paradise for sharks and other species of fish such as barracudas and rainbow fish, octopuses and many sharks such as hammerhead shark, whitefin reef shark and Galapagos sharks . Other sea creatures that are found are turtles, stripes and sea lions, tourists here will snorkel.

During the tour you will visit a beach that can be: Manglesito, Puerto Grande or Cerro Brujo. A landing is made to rest on the beach and make a walk accompanied always by the Naturalist Guide. Return to the hotel. Dinner.

• Day 03

After breakfast, departure from San Cristobal to Puerto Ayora, Santa Cruz Island. Lunch. Visit Charles Darwin Station in the afternoon and walk to Tortuga Bay. Dinner. Accommodation.

• Day 04

After breakfast we leave for the upper part of Puerto Ayora, to Rancho Chato 2 which has the largest reserve of turtles and two lava tunnels in its facilities.

• Day 05

 

After breakfast, we leave for Baltra to take flight back to Continente.

Description of the Galapagos Express Program

• Day 03

Excursion to Punta Pitt

Punta Pitt is located on the east end of San Cristóbal Island. It is a group of volcanic cones eroded and scarcely populated by endemic and native vegetation of the Islands. Punta Pitt is an ideal place where a variety of marine birds, such as, blue-footed boobies, masked, red-footed boobies, frigates among others nest.

Afternoon free to enjoy the beach. Return to the hotel. Dinner.

• Day 04

After breakfast we head to the Interpretation Center, and you can enjoy the beach. We will go to the airport to take our return flight to Continente.
